Equipment and Restrictions

Riding EquipmentAll riding is performed wearing a riding helmet of up to date safety standard, guests are encouraged to bring their own, though we can provide helmets if necessary.

Riders must also wear footwear with a decent heel and are expected to bring their own.

Trousers that don't rub or chaps are recommended.

If you wish to do any jumping you are expected to bring your own chest protector.

There is weight restriction of 85kg, sorry, but our horses are all arabs or part bred arabs and their health is of utmost importance to us.

No unaccompanied children below the age of 18.

Before riding out, all guests will be given a short lesson with Marthe on handling and riding which is an excellent introduction in Marthe's methods and our horses. We ask everyone to do this as our horses have been very carefully trained to be the beautifully mannered and confident rides that they are.

It is essential that you have your own travel insurance covering you for equine sports before riding with us.
